These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of dermatologiatexas.com (the “Site”) and our text messaging program. The Site is operated by Dermatología Texas, the Spanish-language dermatology service of Texas Skin Center (operated by EpiDermatology, PLLC). By using the Site or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Educational information, not medical advice
Content on the Site is educational and does not replace a visit with a clinician. Using the Site or sending us a message does not create a patient-provider relationship. Do not use the contact form or text messages for emergencies or private medical details. In an emergency, call 911.
3. Appointments
Online scheduling is provided by Klara and is subject to its terms. Appointment availability and office policies are set by our offices. For help, call 346-888-4400.
4. Text Messaging Program Terms
By giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you agree to these program terms.

Please note
- Text messages are not encrypted and are not for emergencies. Do not send sensitive health details by text; call us instead. In an emergency, call 911.
- You must be 18 or older (or the parent or guardian of the patient) and the authorized user of the mobile number. If you change or give up your number, reply STOP first or tell us, so another person does not receive your messages.
5. Using the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site: no unlawful use, spam, attempts to bypass security, or interference with its operation. We may restrict access when needed to protect the Site or others.
6. Intellectual property
The Site’s text, design, images and logos belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Third-party sites
The Site links to services we do not control, such as Klara scheduling and texasskincenter.com. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or text messages. Nothing in these Terms limits any duty we owe you as a healthcare provider or any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes will be heard in the courts located in Harris County, Texas, except where the law requires otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Site or text messaging after the effective date means you accept the update.
11. Language
These Terms are available in English and Spanish. If they differ, the English version controls.
